Happy Snowy Day!
Students have a reading sheet to complete at home today for homework. We are working on geometry in math. We will talk about 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional shapes. Please have your child bring in a few objects that can be left in our "Shapes Museum" for several days. The objects should not be valuable or breakable. Here are a few ideas....something that has a triangle, circle, or a square in it. Today may be a great day to gather some shapes around the house. Be sure to label any object you want returned. Thank you!

April has started out being a very typical spring, but it sounds like we may be in for some surprise weather later this week. Here at school we are continuing reading, counting money including quarters, and telling time to five minute intervals.
*We want to thank Lynn Brutger and Sarah Klemmer from the Albany credit union for volunteering to teach our students the Junior Achievement curriculum about wants and needs. They have done a wonderful job! We are excited to go on a field trip to their workplace later in May. *Pajama day is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10. This a reward from their music teacher, Mr. Resley, for good behavior. *Reminder that there will be no school on Friday, April 19. *This week's spelling words are very difficult due to the many spellings of the sound "er." Please encourage your child to write them several times each day to memorize these words. |
