School pictures are coming home today in your child's backpack. Picture retake day is Wednesday, October 30.
Your child has started to practice math facts at school on a site called Moby Max. They start with addition and then move at their own pace to subtraction and then even multiplication and division. A letter was sent home on Tuesday explaining how you can add this to an ipad or computer for your child to practice at home using their login and password. At school we have only used the math facts area, but there are many more options in math, reading, science, etc. I hope you find time to check it out. We had a great time learning about the life of a veterinarian. The students were able to listen to the heartbeat of a cat and dog, look through the microscope, and identify animals being xrayed. Check out our pictures at the vet clinic under the home tab above. Today we did pumpkin explorations. It was a lot of fun measuring, weighing, and counting! Check out the pictures under the home tab above. Just a reminder that your child can bring their halloween costume to school in a bag. They will put it on in the afternoon before our party and then bring it back home again in their backpack. Have a great last week of October and Happy Halloween!
